While restoring this historic home, the owners chose hardwood floors and granite countertops for their kitchen. Wanting to keep the orriginal hardwood floors but also move the island, they had a bit of a delema. However we were able to help them chose a hardwood that would be easy to match with the orriginal with a quick sand and refinish. Now, as you can see, it's impossible to tell the difference!

With this kitchen, the home owners worked with one of our design consultants to create the room of their dreams. They wanted to keep the orriginal hardwood floors but also redesign the island, so we were able to refinish the orriginal floors to match the hardwood that was installed in the gaps where the orriginal island was. They also chose a wonderful granite countertop to further accentuate the beauty of their historic kitchen.
